24(M) Recently Relocated to Bracknell – Looking to Connect!

Hey everyone! I’ve just moved to Bracknell for work as a biomedical engineer and I’m eager to meet new people since I don’t know anyone here yet.

I’m in that transitional phase of recent grad life: just finished university, relocated solo, and now navigating this new place.

I have a passion for music, photography, skating, and love engaging in deep conversations on a variety of topics. I’m quite outgoing and enjoy getting to know new people!

If you have any suggestions for activities, places to check out, or just want to chat, feel free to reach out to me via DM. I’d really appreciate any tips! 😊

  1. Hey there! Welcome to Bracknell! It’s totally normal to feel a bit out of place when you first move to a new town, but it sounds like you’re off to a great start by reaching out.

There are a few ways you can meet new people here:

    1. Local Clubs and Groups: There are often clubs for various interests like music or photography. Check out Meetup.com for groups that align with your interests.

    2. Social Media: Look for Facebook groups specific to Bracknell or your hobbies. Connecting online can lead to in-person meetups.

    3. Local Events: Keep an eye on community events, like concerts, art exhibitions, or skate meetups. They’re a great way to mingle and meet people who share your interests.

    4. Sports and Activities: If you’re into skating, check out local skate parks or groups. Many towns have community sports leagues as well!

    5. Coffee Shops and Hangout Spots: Sometimes just hanging out at local coffee shops or spaces can lead to spontaneous conversations.

Feel free to reach out if you want to chat or grab a coffee sometime! Good luck settling in!
