New in Town: A 25-Year-Old’s Quest for Friendship and Community in Reading

25M New to Reading Seeking Friends

Hey everyone in Reading! I’m a 25-year-old gay man who just moved here a few months ago. I’m still adjusting to life with a job while trying to expand my social circle.

I’m a bit of a film enthusiast—I’ve been lucky enough to attend the Cannes Film Festival twice! I love discussing great films, cooking, Reading, visiting museums, vintage shopping, and just exploring new places. When it comes to music, I’m into alternative and pop, like most people! I consider myself an ambivert; I enjoy quiet, creative activities but also love hanging out in pubs and bars.

I’d love to connect with some new friends who are interested in exploring fun and queer-friendly spots around town. As the winter gets colder and damp, it’ll be great to find ways to lift our spirits!

P.S. Quick question: Who’s interested in joining me for a screening of Luca Guadagnino’s movie Queer (featuring Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey)? Let me know!
