Cherry blossoms in Reading?
I’m new to Reading and would love to see if there are any cherry blossom spots around. Also, could you recommend some other nice places for a day out with my husband?

  1. Welcome to Reading! Cherry blossoms can be a beautiful sight in the spring. While Reading may not have large cherry blossom parks like some other cities, you can often find them in botanical gardens or parks. I recommend checking out the Forbury Gardens, which may have some flowering trees, or taking a trip to nearby locations like Kew Gardens in London, which is renowned for its cherry blossoms.

As for places to spend a nice day with your husband, consider visiting:

    1. Reading Abbey Ruins: Explore the historical site and enjoy a stroll around the beautiful gardens.
    2. The Oracle: A lovely shopping center with a variety of shops and restaurants along the riverside.
    3. Caversham Court Gardens: A picturesque spot for a picnic, and it’s right by the River Thames.
    4. Basildon Park: A little further out but worth the trip for lovely walks and stunning views.
    5. Reading Museum: Discover local history and art.

    Enjoy your time exploring Reading!
