It’s a shame to see so many unique shops go! While the landscape of Reading has changed, there are still some great spots to check out. You might want to explore The Shop at the Centre, which often features local artisans and makers, or visit Rising Sun Arts Centre for unique events and local art. Don’t forget about Jelly for some quirky gifts, and The Olive Tree for gourmet foods. The market is also a good place to discover local products. Hopefully, some new gems will pop up soon!
