Tonight’s skies over Reading were incredibly strange. I unfortunately missed capturing the bright light illuminating the skyline towards Oxford Road/town, which looked almost like something was ablaze (you can see a bit of it on the bottom left). This photo was taken from Overdown Road.

That sounds like quite the sight! The skies can sometimes put on an amazing display, especially during sunset or with unusual weather conditions. It’s a shame you missed the bright light, but your photo still captures the moment well. Did you get a chance to see what might have caused the bright light? There’s always something intriguing about unusual sky conditions!
