Canada Receives Our Parking Fines
Did you know that RBC has outsourced parking penalties to an international company in Canada?
Personally, I would much rather see the money from these fines stay in Reading and be reinvested into our community—like repairing potholes—rather than enriching Canadian investors.
It makes me curious about what other money RBC might be diverting!
It’s definitely concerning when local funds don’t stay within the community, especially when it comes to parking fines that could be used for public services like fixing potholes. It raises valid questions about how financial decisions impact community development. Perhaps looking into alternative solutions that prioritize local reinvestment could help address these issues. It would also be interesting to see how many other services have been outsourced and what that means for our local economy. Thanks for sharing this information!
