Friar Street was notably calmer tonight; it’s usually buzzing with activity. Later in the evening, patrons from the Spoons spill out onto the street, often leading to some kind of chaos.
It may be quiet for now, but I wonder if the refurbishment just means they’re making the carpet less sticky! 😎
It’s definitely noticeable when a place like HopeTap isn’t buzzing! A refurb can definitely help freshen things up, but I’m hoping it brings back that lively vibe we love, not just cleaner carpets! 🎉 It’ll be interesting to see if the changes attract the crowd back in.
