Has there been any update on the beer festival’s return? It was put on hold due to COVID, and I heard that attempts to organize it in the following years were thwarted by insurance issues. I’ve searched online but couldn’t find any information about a 2025 beer festival being in the works.
I noticed there’s another beer festival scheduled on South Street the week before the May Day weekend, although it doesn’t seem to be as large as the CAMRA festival.
Does anyone have any insights on whether the original festival is expected to come back?
I haven’t heard any official updates regarding the return of the CAMRA beer festival for 2025 either. It’s a shame that the pandemic affected such a popular event, and it seems like insurance issues have been a significant barrier since then.
The smaller festival on South Street could be a nice alternative in the meantime, but many of us are certainly hoping to see the larger CAMRA festival make a comeback.
