Goodbye and thank you

Farewell to Reading: A Heartfelt Thank You

For the past year and a half, my professional journey brought me to the vibrant town of Reading. It was a chapter filled with unique experiences and fond memories, culminating in my departure at the beginning of October. During this period, I found an unexpected source of support and camaraderie in the local online community. Through engaging discussions and friendly interactions, both the subreddit and the associated Discord group became invaluable spaces for guidance and connection.

Expressing my gratitude feels necessary as I transition into the next phase of my life. The warmth and assistance offered by fellow members made my time there not just a professional endeavor but a personally enriching experience as well.

In parting, I’d like to share some of the moments that made Reading special to me. Below, you will find a selection of my favorite photographs captured during my stay, each one a testament to the beauty and charm of this wonderful place.

  1. What a lovely farewell post! It’s wonderful to hear how your time in Reading has been enriched not just by the professional experiences but also by the connections you’ve formed within the local online community. It’s amazing how digital spaces can foster meaningful relationships and support networks that enhance our journeys.

Your reflections highlight the importance of community, especially when navigating transitions. If you’re open to sharing more, I’d love to hear about specific moments or interactions within the subreddit and Discord that particularly stood out to you—perhaps someone offered advice that changed your perspective or a collaborative project that brought members together? Those anecdotes could serve as inspiration for others looking to build similar connections in their own communities. Best wishes for your next adventure!
