Any Farmers or anyone with land allow me to metal detect?

Seeking Land Access for Metal Detecting in Berkshire: A Call for Partnerships

Are you a landowner or involved in farming within the Berkshire region? I am reaching out to request permission to engage in metal detecting activities across your property. As a dedicated enthusiast, I am committed to responsible and lawful detecting, and I am eager to establish mutually beneficial arrangements.

Part of my ethical approach involves sharing any valuable finds with the landowner on a 50/50 basis. Additionally, should I discover historical artifacts, I will report and transfer these to the appropriate authorities in accordance with legal requirements, ensuring proper preservation of our shared heritage.

Currently, finding suitable locations to practice this hobby has been challenging. While I frequently detect on public parklands—such as those permitted by Reading City Council—I genuinely value having the opportunity to detect on private land, which offers a more enriching experience.

If you are open to allowing metal detecting on your land or know of landowners willing to collaborate, your support would be immensely appreciated. Please feel free to reach out, and I look forward to establishing respectful and responsible partnerships.

Thank you for your consideration.
