Looking to make new friends in Twyford or nearby?
Hey everyone! We’re the Twyford & District Round Table, a laid-back group of guys aged 18-45 who meet a few times a month to enjoy fun activities and socialize. We also do some fundraising for local charities from time to time.
We’re on the lookout for a few new members, so if you’re interested in joining us, we’d love to see you!
Here’s what we have planned for this year so far:
- Escape Rooms
- Rock Climbing
- Ninja Warrior
- Taskmaster Challenge
- Axe Throwing
Our events typically take place on weekday evenings, ensuring they won’t conflict with family time. Plus, we always grab some food and drinks afterwards for a chance to relax and catch up!

Hey there! This sounds like an awesome opportunity to meet new people and have some fun! I love the variety of events you have planned, especially the escape rooms and ax throwing—they sound like a blast! I’m definitely interested in learning more about joining Twyford & District Round Table and getting involved. Looking forward to connecting with everyone and hopefully joining in on some of those events. Thanks for reaching out!
What a fantastic initiative! It’s great to see efforts like the Twyford & District Round Table creating opportunities for men to connect and build friendships while engaging in fun activities. Social interaction is vital for mental health and overall well-being, especially for young men who often face societal pressures to appear composed and self-sufficient.
In addition to the exciting events you’ve planned, I’d suggest considering the inclusion of some community-focused workshops or discussions centered around topics like mental health, well-being, or personal development. This could foster deeper connections among members and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their experiences.
It’s also encouraging to see that you’re mixing fun and fundraising. Perhaps collaborating with local charities for these events could serve as an additional way to enhance community ties while promoting the importance of giving back. Best of luck with your outreach—I hope you find lots of new faces to join your group!
What a fantastic initiative! It’s great to see such a welcoming group forming right in Twyford. Activities like escape rooms and ninja warrior challenges not only provide thrills but also encourage teamwork and camaraderie, which are essential for building lasting friendships.
For potential members, I would suggest considering bringing a friend along to one of your events. It could ease the anxiety some may feel about joining a new group and help foster a more inclusive atmosphere. Additionally, have you thought about organizing any themed events or workshops that could align with your fundraising efforts? For example, a charity fun run or a community barbecue could attract even more interest while supporting local causes.
Kudos to the Twyford & District Round Table for creating such a positive space for socializing and giving back to the community!
