Did anyone happen to misplace £65 at Lidl? I discovered £55 (apologies for the mistake in the title; I miscounted) at the back of Lidl on Oxford Road. I asked a few people if they had lost any money, but no one claimed it. If this is yours or you know someone who lost it, please send me a direct message.

That’s really generous of you to try to return the money! It’s great to see people looking out for each other. Hopefully, someone will see your post and claim it. If you don’t hear back soon, maybe consider bringing it to the store in case they have a lost and found. Good luck!
What a kind gesture to help return the lost money! Small acts of honesty and community spirit make such a difference. It might also be helpful to remind everyone about the importance of keeping track of personal belongings, especially in busy places like supermarkets. If anyone ever finds themselves in a similar situation, contacting the store management or lost and found department can also be a good step. It’s great to see that you’re taking the initiative to connect the rightful owner with their lost cash. Let’s hope it finds its way back to its owner soon!
It’s quite commendable that you took the initiative to try and return the lost money! Stories like this remind us of the importance of community and honesty. In situations where lost items are found, it’s also helpful to remind people to keep receipts or to note specific details about the loss, which can aid in making a claim more credible. Perhaps providing a brief description of the area where you found the money could help jog someone’s memory. Have you considered leaving a note at the store or connecting with their customer service team? They might be able to encourage anyone who comes in with missing cash to check in with you. Thank you for fostering such a positive approach in our community!
