Seeking Parents of Young Children: Contribute to Important Research on Health
Hello, wonderful parents!
As a mother of two, one of whom falls into the vibrant age range of 3 to 5 years, I’m excited to share a unique opportunity that could benefit both your little ones and the broader community. I’m currently engaged in an important research project at the University of Reading, focused on exploring the connection between gut health and brain development in young children.
We are seeking participants for a brief study involving parents of children aged 3 to 5 (up to 6 years). Rest assured, this study has received full ethical approval from the university, and participation is entirely voluntary and confidential.
Here’s what’s involved:
- Questionnaires: You’ll complete a series of questionnaires, which will take approximately 45 minutes. You can choose to do this at home or in-person at the university.
- Stool Sample: We will provide you with a straightforward kit to collect a stool sample from your child (it’s easier than it sounds!).
- Compensation: As a token of appreciation for your time, you’ll receive a £25 Amazon voucher!
I understand how hectic parenting can be, which is why I wanted to highlight this opportunity – it offers flexibility and a chance to contribute to vital research while receiving a little something in return.
If you’re interested in participating or wish to check your eligibility, please take a moment to fill out our quick 2-minute prescreen here:
