Recently ended a relationship at 28. I’m feeling a bit lonely these days and it’s surprising how much someone can impact your emotions. I tried to break up with my ex for some valid reasons (he had Hinge on his phone and was overly affectionate with his female friends), but he flipped the situation and made me feel like it was my fault. I realize now that I trusted him too much. I’m looking for a support group or just some friendly company to spend time with. He lived in London, and I’ve spent most of the past year with his friends. If anyone is interested in hanging out in Reading town center on the weekends, I would love to connect!

  1. I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. It sounds like you went through a tough experience, and it’s completely normal to feel lonely afterward. Trusting someone and then feeling let down can be really painful. It might be a good idea to reach out to friends or find local groups that share your interests; sometimes, participating in new activities can help bring a fresh perspective and new connections.

Since you’re in Reading, maybe you could look into local events, meetups, or clubs that align with your hobbies. It might also be worthwhile to check out social media groups or apps focused on finding new friends in your area. Remember, it’s okay to seek support, and you don’t have to go through this alone. Wishing you the best as you navigate this time!
