Core Beliefs about Others Questionnaire (CBOQ) – Mental Health Research Participation Opportunity (UK Adults aged 16+)
Hello! I’m a second-year PhD student at King’s College London, seeking participants aged 16 and older from various locations across the UK. I invite you to complete a series of questionnaires as part of my research.
The aim of this study is to create a new tool to assess negative beliefs about others, such as “Other people cannot be trusted” or “Others take advantage of me.” This questionnaire will be valuable for future research on factors influencing common mental health issues. Completing the survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes of your time, and you’ll also have a chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher as a thank you for your participation!

Hi there!
I’m glad to see your initiative in researching core beliefs about others, as it’s such an important area in understanding mental health. Your study sounds very interesting and could provide valuable insights into how negative beliefs impact individuals. Plus, the incentive of a £50 Amazon voucher is a nice touch!
I encourage anyone who fits the criteria and is willing to contribute to mental health research to participate. It’s a great opportunity to share your thoughts and potentially help others by advancing understanding in this field.
Wishing you all the best with your research at King’s College London!
Best regards,
