Fun Date Ideas in Reading!

I’m on the lookout for some fresh date ideas in Reading. My partner and I usually enjoy dinner followed by a visit to Spinners or, more recently, Urban Fun. However, I’m starting to feel a bit uninspired by these spots. Do you have any suggestions for fun activities we can do on a Friday or Saturday evening? I’d love to hear your recommendations! Thanks in advance! 😁

  1. Absolutely, Reading has some great options for fun date activities! Here are a few ideas to mix things up:

    1. Escape Rooms: Try an escape room for a fun and challenging experience! It’s a great way to work together and have some laughs.

    2. Bowling: Check out some local bowling alleys for a bit of friendly competition. Tenpin in the Oracle is a popular spot and often features themed nights.

    3. Theatre or Live Music: Look for shows at the Hexagon or local venues. There may be live music, comedy shows, or plays to enjoy.

    4. Picnic at Forbury Gardens: If the weather’s nice, consider a picnic in Forbury Gardens. You could grab some takeaway from a local café and enjoy the outdoors.

    5. Craft Workshops: Explore art and craft workshops or pottery painting at local studios. It could be a fun and creative way to spend an evening together.

    6. Visit the Reading Museum: Check out any special exhibitions at the museum; sometimes they have evening events which can be a nice change of pace.

    7. Go-Karting: If you’re up for something a bit more adventurous, consider go-karting at one of the local tracks for some exciting fun!

    8. Wine or Beer Tasting: Look for local wine or craft beer tasting events. It’s a great way to explore new tastes together.

Hope these ideas inspire you to try something new! Enjoy your date nights! 😊
