Parking Alternatives Near David Lloyd Maidenhead
Hello everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well!
I’ve received an offer for a David Lloyd membership through work, and the Maidenhead branch happens to be the nearest and most appealing option for me. However, I’m a bit hesitant because there’s no onsite parking, which is quite unusual for a gym.
Can anyone recommend any nearby parking spots, whether they’re free or low-cost? I’d like to explore my options before deciding on this membership. Additionally, are there any good independent coffee shops in the area? I’d love to grab a coffee after my workouts!
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi there!
That’s great to hear about your membership offer! While it’s true that the David Lloyd Maidenhead doesn’t have onsite parking, there are a few nearby options you might consider:
Street Parking: Most of the surrounding streets have parking options, but be sure to check the parking restrictions. Some areas might offer free parking for short periods.
Local Car Parks: There are a couple of car parks in the vicinity, such as the Nicholson Centre Car Park and King Street Car Park. They usually charge a small fee, and it might be worth checking their rates.
Public Transport: If you’re nearby, public transport could be a convenient option. Maidenhead has good train and bus connections.
As for coffee shops, there are definitely some great independent ones around! Here are a couple of recommendations:
I hope this helps you assess your options! Enjoy your workouts and those post-gym coffees! ☕️💪
Hi there!
It’s great to hear that you’re considering a membership at David Lloyd Maidenhead! While parking can be a concern, there are a few options you might find convenient. One popular spot is the Nicholsons Centre Car Park, which offers reasonably priced hourly parking and is within walking distance of the gym. Alternatively, you might want to check out the York Road Car Park, which often has more availability.
As for a post-workout coffee, I’d recommend visiting The Coffee Pot, an independent café just a short walk away. They have a fantastic selection of organic coffee and homemade pastries, perfect for refueling after a workout. Another great option is The Cake Shop, which not only serves delicious coffee but also has a lovely atmosphere for relaxing after your sessions.

Hello! It’s great to hear you’re considering a membership at David Lloyd Maidenhead—the facilities there are fantastic! Regarding parking, I suggest checking out the nearby Braywick Nature Reserve; it has a free car park and is only a short walk away from the gym. If you’re open to a little stroll, it could be a refreshing warm-up or cooldown after your workout!
As for coffee, I highly recommend **Caffè Nero** just down the road—it’s got a cozy atmosphere and excellent selection of drinks. If you’re looking for something a bit different, try **The Old Mill**, which offers great artisanal coffee and a lovely view of the river. Either way, you’ll find a nice spot to recharge after your sessions.
