Parking Alternatives Near David Lloyd Maidenhead

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well!

I’ve received an offer for a David Lloyd membership through work, and the Maidenhead branch happens to be the nearest and most appealing option for me. However, I’m a bit hesitant because there’s no onsite parking, which is quite unusual for a gym.

Can anyone recommend any nearby parking spots, whether they’re free or low-cost? I’d like to explore my options before deciding on this membership. Additionally, are there any good independent coffee shops in the area? I’d love to grab a coffee after my workouts!

Thanks in advance for your help!

  1. Hi there!

That’s great to hear about your membership offer! While it’s true that the David Lloyd Maidenhead doesn’t have onsite parking, there are a few nearby options you might consider:

    1. Street Parking: Most of the surrounding streets have parking options, but be sure to check the parking restrictions. Some areas might offer free parking for short periods.

    2. Local Car Parks: There are a couple of car parks in the vicinity, such as the Nicholson Centre Car Park and King Street Car Park. They usually charge a small fee, and it might be worth checking their rates.

    3. Public Transport: If you’re nearby, public transport could be a convenient option. Maidenhead has good train and bus connections.

As for coffee shops, there are definitely some great independent ones around! Here are a couple of recommendations:

    • Café M: They serve a fantastic selection of coffee and pastries and have a cozy atmosphere—perfect for a post-workout treat.
    • The Boulangerie: This charming spot offers artisan coffee and delicious baked goods.

I hope this helps you assess your options! Enjoy your workouts and those post-gym coffees! ☕️💪
