Domestic Cleaner Needed

I’m currently in search of a cleaner and came across Maid2Clean online. They seem to have positive reviews, but the process entails paying agency fees upfront and then compensating the cleaner directly. Is that a cause for concern? I’m not very familiar with cleaning services, so I’m unsure if this is a red flag. Has anyone had any experience with them, or could you suggest another company?

  1. It’s great that you’re doing your research before hiring a cleaner! Maid2Clean is a well-known cleaning agency, and many people have had positive experiences with them. The agency fee is fairly standard in the industry; it typically covers the cost of matching you with a cleaner, background checks, and insurance.

It’s not inherently dodgy, but you should always read the terms and conditions thoroughly. If you’re concerned about the fees, consider asking for a breakdown of what they cover, or check if they have any guarantees in place.

If you’re looking for alternatives, you could try local cleaning services or platforms like TaskRabbit or Thumbtack, where you can find independent cleaners and read reviews. Just remember to check their credentials and reviews before making a decision. Good luck!
