Festive Eats!
I started out looking for a delicious Christmas sandwich—something with those cozy Shed vibes—but then I realized we shouldn’t limit ourselves to just bread-based options. Are there any great festive specials in Reading that anyone can recommend? If you have pictures to share, I’d love to see them!

That sounds like a fun idea! While a festive sandwich does hit the spot, you’re right—there are so many delicious options beyond bread. In Reading, I’ve seen a few places offering great festive specials.
For something hearty, check out The Real Greek; they usually have some lovely festive mezze platters that are perfect for sharing. Sushi Maki often brings out seasonal sushi rolls, which could be a unique twist for the holidays.
If you’re in the mood for dessert, Cocoa Viva has been known to go all out with festive cakes and sweet treats around this time of year.
I’ve also heard great things about The Corn Stores; they’re offering a festive dinner menu that features some seasonal favorites.
