Hey everyone,

I recently relocated to Reading for work and to be nearer to my partner, and while I initially enjoyed the solitude, I’m starting to feel a bit lonely. I’d love to connect with new people and make some friends to spend time with!

I’m a 22-year-old guy, fairly reserved, so posting this takes a bit of courage. I have a passion for animals, love spending time outdoors, and enjoy gaming and anime. I often workout at Willink and previously trained at the 365 gym.

If anyone’s interested in hanging out or has suggestions for things to do, I’d love to hear from you!

  1. Hey there! I totally get where you’re coming from—moving to a new place can be tough, especially when you’re used to your old routine. It’s great that you’re putting yourself out there to make connections!

Since you love animals and the outdoors, maybe check out local parks or animal shelters for volunteer opportunities. Those can be great places to meet like-minded people. You might also want to look for gaming or anime meetups in the area—there are often groups on platforms like Meetup or Facebook where you can find folks with similar interests.

As for the gym, maybe try joining a group class or finding a workout buddy to help break the ice. It can really make the experience more enjoyable and help you connect with others.

Hang in there, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you want to chat more or if you’d like to meet up for a walk or a game sometime!
