I Need Your Help!

Hello everyone! I’m Selina ([email protected]), a student at the University of Edinburgh, and I’m currently working on an international research project aimed at amplifying voices from the UK.

This study is a collaboration involving over 30 researchers from esteemed institutions like the University of Cambridge, Columbia University, and the Max Planck Institute. Our team is made up of individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, united by a shared research goal that spans more than 20 countries.

I’m reaching out to gather as many participants as possible within a week, and I need support from all communities. Every opinion matters, so please respond in a way that genuinely reflects your views; every response counts!

The focus of our study is on the regulations of online platforms, including advertisements and algorithms. We’ve all encountered annoying ads, misinformation, and unwanted choices, and we believe that it’s time to address these issues. Our goal is to raise awareness about whether online platforms should be regulated, and if so, how to achieve that. Together, we can advocate for changes that will create a better online environment in the UK!

If you’re interested in sharing your thoughts, please take a moment to complete this study, which only takes 5-8 minutes.

We are looking for:
– UK residents 🇬🇧
– Individuals aged 18 and above

Your participation is completely anonymous and voluntary, and you can withdraw from the study at any point. Rest assured, your data will only be used for scientific purposes!

If you find this research project interesting, please feel free to share it with your friends and family! Your support means a lot to me. Thank you! 🫶
