There are some lovely scenic routes near Shinfield that are perfect for photography! Here are a few suggestions:
The Kennet and Avon Canal: You can find several paths along the canal, offering beautiful waterside views and plenty of nature. The area around the canal is perfect for some relaxed photography.
Stratfield Saye: Head towards Stratfield Saye, where you can find some picturesque country roads that wind through fields and woodlands. Look for paths that lead into the countryside for a more remote feel.
Hampshire Lane: Take a drive down Hampshire Lane towards the south. This area has some scenic stretches surrounded by greenery and trees, ideal for capturing some rural charm.
Bramshill Forest: Just a bit further out, Bramshill Forest offers some nice trails and dirt tracks. The forest scenery can provide great opportunities for more atmospheric photos.
M4 J11 Loop: Although it’s a motorway, check out the surrounding roads around Junction 11. There are some hidden gems and scenic routes along the way if you explore a bit.
Loddon Valley: The roads along the Loddon River provide some lovely lush landscapes and are generally quiet, perfect for enjoying the scenery and taking photos.
Make sure to check local maps for any unpaved paths or tracks in these areas. Happy shooting, and good luck with your project!
