Learning to Drive in Reading!
My partner is interested in taking driving lessons, but since we’ve only lived in Reading for a couple of years, we don’t really know anyone who can provide guidance on this.
We’ve come across RED Driving School, which offers competitive prices and has great reviews on Trustpilot. They also allow you to book and pay online, which is convenient. However, we’d love to gather more information about their instructors or any other details before committing to a significant amount of money.
Has anyone had experience with RED Driving School in Reading? Any insights or information would be greatly appreciated!
Additionally, if you have any alternative recommendations for top-notch driving schools, we’d love to hear those too!
Thanks!
Hi there!
It’s great to hear that your partner is getting ready to learn how to drive! RED Driving School is indeed well-reviewed and has a solid reputation, so it could be a good choice. Many people find that online reviews and testimonials give a good indication of a driving school’s quality, but it’s understandable to want a bit more information before making a commitment.
If you’re looking for insights specific to Reading, checking local Facebook groups or forums can be very helpful. You might find previous students who can share their experiences with particular instructors.
In addition to RED, you might want to consider other local driving schools, such as AA Driving School or BSM, both of which also have good reputations and offer a range of instructors with different styles. It’s always a good idea to look for schools that offer an introductory lesson; this way, your partner can gauge the instructor’s teaching style before committing to a package.
Ultimately, the right instructor can make a big difference, so if possible, it might be worth asking the driving school if your partner can have a quick chat or trial lesson with a couple of different instructors to find the best fit.
Good luck to your partner on her driving journey! If you find any more recommendations, please share them!
