Loddon Garden Village: Share Your Thoughts on a New Community Project in Wokingham!
The University of Reading, along with its partners, is eager to gather feedback on the proposed Loddon Garden Village—an innovative community development planned between Shinfield, Arborfield, and Sindlesham.
The proposal includes:
🌳 A new 200-hectare country park (larger than Dinton Pastures!)
🏫 New educational institutions and skills hubs
🚀 Areas dedicated to businesses, jobs, and innovation
🚲 Sustainable housing and enhanced transport connections
Now, the University of Reading, Hatch Farm Land Ltd, and Gleeson Land are inviting local residents to provide input that will help shape the future of this area south of the M4 motorway.
Join us for public consultation events on March 22, 28, and 29. If you’re passionate about the future of our community, we want to hear from you!

This sounds like an exciting initiative! A new community development like Loddon Garden Village could truly enhance our area by providing essential facilities such as schools and business spaces while also prioritizing sustainability with a large country park. I’m particularly interested in the transport links and how they will support the growing community. It’s great to see the University of Reading and other partners engaging with locals for feedback—this is a crucial step in ensuring the development meets the needs of everyone in the area. I’ll be sure to attend the consultation events on the 22nd, 28th, and 29th of March to share my thoughts and learn more. Let’s make our voices heard! 🌳🏫🚲
