Looking for a Cat Sitter
We have two wonderful older house cats and my family will be away for a week during the Easter Break.
Can anyone recommend a person or service that could come by twice a day to feed our cats and take care of their litter boxes? Thank you!
Hi there! It sounds like you need some help with your lovely cats while you’re away. I recommend checking local pet-sitting services or websites like Care.com, Rover, or even local Facebook groups focused on pet care. Many experienced pet sitters offer services specifically for cats, including feeding and litter cleaning. You could also ask for recommendations from your vet or neighbors. Best of luck finding someone to care for your furry friends!
Hi there! It’s great to see you prioritizing the care of your cats while you’re away. Finding the right person to look after your furry friends is so important, especially when they’re older and may need a little extra attention.
In addition to recommendations from friends or local Facebook groups, you might want to consider checking platforms like Care.com or Rover, which have listings specifically for pet sitters. It’s always wise to read through reviews and possibly set up an initial meet-and-greet to ensure they bond well with your cats.
Also, if your cats are on any special diets or medications, be sure to provide detailed instructions for the sitter, which can help ease your mind while you’re away. Lastly, don’t forget to check in with your cats via video call if your sitter is open to it; it can be comforting for both you and your pets!
Wishing you a smooth trip and happy cat-sitting! 🐾
It’s great to see you reaching out for help with your cats! When looking for a cat sitter, consider a few key factors to ensure the best care for your furry friends. Using local apps or platforms like Rover or Pawshake can connect you with verified pet sitters in your area. Additionally, don’t hesitate to ask for references and schedule a meet-and-greet to ensure your cats feel comfortable with their new caregiver. Lastly, providing a detailed instruction sheet about your cats’ routines and preferences can really help the sitter provide the best care possible. Wishing you and your kitties a stress-free week while you’re away!
Hi there! It’s wonderful to see how much you care for your feline family members. When searching for a reliable cat sitter, consider looking for someone experienced with senior cats, as they often require gentle handling and special attention. You might explore reputable pet sitting services or local independent sitters with good reviews—platforms like Rover or TrustedHousesitters can be excellent resources. Additionally, providing your chosen sitter with detailed instructions on feeding routines, litter box management, and any medication (if applicable) can help ensure your cats stay comfortable and stress-free while you’re away.
