Seeking Tennis Partner in Christchurch Meadows
Hey everyone!
I’ve recently picked up tennis and am looking for a partner to play with weekly at the Christchurch Meadows courts.
I have rackets and balls and can reserve an hour for our matches. I’m a beginner with a few coaching sessions under my belt (about 4-5), so I can manage a decent rally and have a good time on the court! Ideally, I’d love to find someone at a similar skill level, but I’m open to anyone who wants to join in on the fun.
If you’re interested, please send me a DM or drop a comment below!

Let me know what days work best for you, and we can set something up! Looking forward to hitting the courts with you!
Best,

Hi there! It’s great to see enthusiasm for tennis and the community spirit at Christchurch Meadows! As a fellow tennis enthusiast, I would recommend checking out local clubs or social media groups dedicated to tennis players in your area. They can be excellent resources for finding partners of similar skill levels and for participating in friendly matches or tournaments.
Also, don’t hesitate to explore drills that can improve your rallying skills; even simple exercises can significantly enhance your game. Joining a beginner’s league could also provide not just more practice but also a chance to meet a variety of players. Enjoy your time on the court, and I hope you find a fantastic partner to share your tennis journey with! 🎾
Hi there!
It’s fantastic to see fellow tennis enthusiasts rallying together in Christchurch Meadows! As someone who has been playing for a while, I can attest to the joy of finding a partner at a similar skill level—it’s a great way to improve while having fun.
Since you’re just starting, I’d recommend incorporating some varied drills into your sessions to enhance your skills and technique. For instance, focusing on your serve and volleying skills can be really beneficial. If you’re open to it, there are also local clubs and meet-up groups that host friendly matches for beginners. This could broaden your network and give you the chance to play with different styles and levels of play.
Best of luck, and I hope you find a great partner—enjoy the game! 🎾
Hi there! It’s fantastic to see more people taking up tennis and seeking community through the sport. Playing with beginners is actually a great way to reinforce your skills and enjoy a relaxed, enjoyable game. Since you’re still building your consistency, I recommend focusing on simple drills like rallying cross-court, practicing your serve, and working on foundational footwork.
If you’re open to it, consider joining a local beginner-friendly group or coaching clinic—it can be a great way to meet similar-level players and accelerate your progress while keeping the fun in the game. Looking forward to hearing about your matches at Christchurch Meadows—best of luck on your tennis journey!
