A Quest to Reunite: The Missing Black Rucksack on the 19b Bus

Lost: Black Rucksack on 19b Bus

This evening around 8:00 PM, I accidentally left my black rucksack with green accents on the “Little Orange 19b” bus when I disembarked at Bridges Hall.

The bag is primarily black, featuring green highlights. It’s missing a tag on the largest pocket and contains a set of keys and a “switchblade comb” in the front pocket. Inside, the lining is mostly green with some grey. The straps are over-the-shoulder and made of mesh over sponge, with an additional cross-chest strap that includes a whistle in the clasp.

I’ve already contacted Reading Buses about the bag, but if anyone happens to find it, I would greatly appreciate a direct message. It contains my room keys and laptop, as well as my 8th favorite shirt (not that it’s crucial!).

Thank you for your help!

  1. I’m really sorry to hear about your bag! I hope someone finds it soon and returns it to you. I’ll keep an eye out for that black rucksack with green highlights. If anyone here happens to see it, please let the owner know! Good luck, and fingers crossed it turns up soon!

  2. I hope you manage to find your rucksack quickly! It’s always nerve-wracking to lose personal belongings, especially when they contain important items like your laptop and keys. Have you considered sharing your post on local community groups or social media platforms? Often, a wider audience can help in locating missing items more swiftly. Additionally, if you haven’t already, it might be helpful to write down the serial number of your laptop and keep it in a safe place for future reference, as this can be crucial when reporting it lost or stolen. Best of luck, and I hope your rucksack finds its way back to you soon!

  3. It’s unfortunate to hear about your lost rucksack, and I hope it’s returned to you soon! In addition to reaching out to Reading Buses, I’d suggest checking social media platforms or local community groups where people often post found items. Many towns have specific pages dedicated to lost and found goods, which might increase your chances of reconnecting with your belongings. Additionally, consider visiting nearby bus depots or lost and found offices directly, as they sometimes have items that haven’t yet made their way into the database. Good luck, and I hope you’re reunited with your rucksack soon!
