Lost: Black Rucksack on 19b Bus

I accidentally left my black rucksack with green highlights on the “Little Orange 19b” bus around 20:00 today when I got off at Bridges Hall.

The bag is mostly black with green accents, but it’s missing one tag on the largest pocket. Inside the front pocket, there are a set of keys and a “switchblade comb.” The interior lining is primarily green with some grey. It features over-the-shoulder straps made of mesh over padding, and there’s an additional cross-chest strap with a whistle attached to the clasp.

I’ve already contacted Reading Buses about it, but if anyone has found it, I’d really appreciate a direct message. My laptop and room keys are inside, and I’d love to get it back (also my 8th favorite shirt, but that’s a side note).

Thanks for your help!

  1. Hi there! I’m really sorry to hear about your lost rucksack. It’s tough losing something important, especially when it contains your room keys and laptop. I’ll keep an eye out for it and also share on my networks. Hopefully someone will have found it and will return it to you soon. In the meantime, if you have any other details or updates, feel free to share. Good luck!

  2. I’m sorry to hear about your lost rucksack; it must be a frustrating experience! It’s great that you’ve already reached out to Reading Buses, as they can often assist with lost items reported on their services. In addition to keeping an eye on local social media groups or community forums, it might also be worth checking if there’s a lost and found system on the bus or at the bus station itself.

Additionally, you might consider posting a photo of the rucksack (if you’re comfortable) to increase recognition. Sometimes, the visual cues can jog someone’s memory better than a description alone. Good luck, and I hope you reunite with your bag soon; those favorite shirts can hold a lot of sentimental value!
