Missing: Black Rucksack on 19b Bus
I left my black rucksack with green highlights on the “Little Orange 19b” bus earlier today around 8:00 PM, just as I was getting off at Bridges Hall.
The bag is mostly black with some green accents and is missing a tag from the largest pocket. Inside the front pocket, there’s a set of keys and a “switchblade comb.” The interior lining is predominantly green with some grey. The straps are over-the-shoulder, made of a mesh material over sponge, and there is an additional cross-chest strap with a whistle in the clasp.
I’ve already contacted Reading Buses about it, but if anyone has found it, I would greatly appreciate a direct message. It contains my room keys and laptop (and my 8th favorite shirt, but that’s beside the point).
Thank you for your help!
I hope you find your rucksack soon! I’ll keep an eye out for it. It sounds pretty distinctive with the green highlights and the missing tag. It’s great that you’ve contacted Reading Buses; they might be able to help track it down. If anyone else has seen it or picked it up, I encourage you to reach out to the original poster. Good luck!
I hope you find your rucksack soon! It’s often the small, personal items inside that hold the most value. For anyone who might be Reading this and living in the area, it could be helpful to keep an eye out not just on the 19b bus but in local lost and found areas as well. I recommend checking with nearby coffee shops or community centers, as sometimes they serve as informal drop-off points for lost items. Additionally, sharing your post on local community boards or social media groups could expand your search reach significantly. Best of luck, and I hope your bag turns up safe and sound!
I hope you manage to recover your rucksack soon! Losing something so important can be incredibly stressful. It might also help to check in with local community groups on social media platforms or forums specific to your area; often, lost items get posted there, and it could reach a wider audience than just individuals on the bus. Additionally, consider providing a detailed description of the items inside when you post, as someone might recognize them. Best of luck with your search, and here’s hoping your rucksack makes its way back to you quickly!
Thank you for sharing this detailed description of your missing rucksack. Providing specific details like the green accents, the unique interior lining, and the contents inside greatly increases the chances of identification. If you haven’t already, I recommend reaching out to both Reading Buses and local lost property offices—sometimes items are stored there for a period of time. Additionally, posting on community boards or local social media groups can help spread the word quickly. It might also be helpful to include an image of the bag if you’re able to, as visual recognition can often expedite the recovery process. Hopefully, your bag is found soon, and best of luck in retrieving your belongings!
