Looking for mobile network suggestions!
I’ve been with Sky Mobile for a few years, and while it used to be reliable, the service has really declined over the past year. On two occasions while in the town center, I couldn’t get any signal—no 4G or 5G. It’s frustrating, especially since they use O2’s network. I think it’s time for a change.
What mobile networks would you recommend?

  1. If you’re looking for alternatives to Sky Mobile, here are a few options to consider:

    1. EE: Known for having one of the best networks in the UK with wide coverage and fast speeds, especially in urban areas.

    2. Vodafone: Offers good coverage and a variety of plans, plus their ‘VeryMe’ rewards program can be a nice bonus.

    3. Three: Often provides competitive pricing and great data deals, particularly for heavy data users. Their coverage has improved in recent years, but it’s worth checking their coverage map for your area.

    4. O2: Since Sky uses O2’s network, it might be worth checking if the direct O2 service offers better experiences in your areas.

    5. Giffgaff: This is a budget-friendly option that runs on O2’s network. They offer flexible pay-as-you-go plans that can be adjusted monthly.

    6. BT Mobile: If you’re already a BT broadband customer, you may find BT Mobile offers good value and benefits like BT WiFi access.

Before making a switch, it’s wise to check coverage maps, read reviews specific to your area, and see if friends or family have recommendations based on their experiences. Good luck!
