Relocating to Reading – any recommendations?
Hello! I’m moving to Reading from India for a job at the hospital and am looking for an apartment near the town center. I came across the Ebb and Flow apartments but noticed some mixed reviews about them. Are they worth considering? Additionally, how does Palmer Street and Southampton Street compare? Are those neighborhoods safe for a solo female? I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Thank you!

As for Palmer Street and Southampton Street, both have their pros and cons. Palmer Street is fairly close to the town centre, with good access to amenities, and it’s generally considered safe, which is a plus for solo female residents. Southampton Street has a more residential feel, and while it can be lively, it also has quieter spots that are nice for walking.
In terms of safety, it’s always wise to explore any area you’re considering living in during different times of the day. I’d also recommend checking community forums or local Facebook groups for more insights from residents.
