The University of Reading is inviting participants to join an exciting research study focused on understanding how prebiotic supplements can influence mental health and cognitive function. Led by a dedicated post-doctoral researcher, this placebo-controlled trial seeks to explore innovative ways to enhance mental wellbeing.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking adults who meet the following criteria:
- Ages: Between 25 and 40 years
- Current Experiences: Feeling stressed recently
- Location: Reside near Reading and able to visit the Psychology Department at the University of Reading for three brief sessions, two of which should occur in the morning during standard working hours
What Participation Involves
Participants will be required to:
- Consume a daily supplement over a six-week period
- Provide saliva samples on four separate occasions
