Caution: Possible Scam Near the Marketplace Bus Stop

I wanted to bring attention to a potential scammer situation near the Marketplace bus stop. Recently, there has been a woman there holding a sheet of paper, seemingly pretending to not speak English and soliciting money. I’m fairly certain she’s not being truthful—when I confronted her about her actions, she told me to “mind my business,” which suggests she understands English perfectly.

After our exchange, she kept approaching me, insisting I stay out of it, until someone—likely a friend—advised her to leave. This suggests there may be more individuals involved. I’ve seen her multiple times engaging in this behavior, so it doesn’t appear to be an isolated incident. Please be cautious if you encounter her!
