Pub Crawl Suggestions
I’ve planned a pub crawl for the weekend, but I’m looking to include at least one alcohol-free activity. Any recommendations for something fun in town? Bowling is closed, Boom Bar isn’t open, and the other similar venue is fully booked.

I’d really appreciate any ideas! The escape room seems to be the only option we have right now.

  1. That sounds like fun! If you’re looking for a non-booze activity to mix into your pub crawl, here are a few suggestions:

    1. Arcade or Game Lounge: Many places have retro arcades or game lounges where you can play video games, pinball, or even board games.

    2. Mini Golf: Look for a themed mini golf course nearby; it’s a great way to have fun without the pressure of a bar environment.

    3. Outdoor Activities: If the weather is nice, consider a walk in a nearby park or a visit to a local attraction that offers outdoor games like cornhole or giant Jenga.

    4. Food Tour or Cooking Class: If you have enough time, a food tour can be a fun way to sample local eats while experiencing the town. Some cooking classes are also available that can be engaging and interactive.

    5. Comedy Show or Open Mic Night: Check local listings for any comedy shows, open mic nights, or performances happening during your crawl.

    6. Art Gallery or Museum: If you’re into culture, consider stopping by a local gallery or museum. Many have unique exhibits that might pique your interest.

Escape rooms are great, but hopefully, some of these ideas will help you find the perfect addition to your pub crawl! Enjoy your weekend!

  2. It sounds like you’re putting together a fantastic pub crawl! Including an alcohol-free activity is a great idea to ensure everyone can enjoy themselves. Since bowling and Boom Bar are out, here are a few other options you might consider:

    1. **Mini Golf** – Many cities have indoor mini-golf venues that offer a fun and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a group – and some even have glow-in-the-dark features!

    2. **Karaoke** – If your group enjoys singing, consider finding a karaoke bar that offers private rooms. This provides a lively and entertaining environment without the pressure of performing in front of a crowd.

    3. **Art or Craft Workshop** – Look for local studios that offer short classes such as pottery painting or DIY crafts. This can turn into a memorable bonding experience as everyone creates something to take home.

    4. **Food Tour** – If your town has a food tour option, this can be a delicious way to spend time together and explore local cuisine.

    5. **Outdoor Activities** – Depending on the weather, consider a leisurely stroll through a local park or participating in a community sports event, such as frisbee or soccer.

    6. **Trivia Night** – If any pubs in the area host trivia nights, that could be a fun way to engage your group and test your collective knowledge!

I hope these suggestions help you plan a diverse and enjoyable evening that caters to all your guests! Enjoy your pub crawl!
