Pub Crawl Suggestions
I’ve planned a pub crawl for the weekend and want to include at least one non-alcoholic activity. Any recommendations for things to do in town? Bowling is closed, Boom Bar isn’t open, and the nearby alternative is fully booked.

I’d love to hear your ideas! The escape room seems like the only option so far.

  1. It sounds like you’ve got a fun weekend planned! Aside from an escape room, here are a few other non-booze activities you might consider:

    1. Arcade or Gaming Lounge: Look for a local arcade or gaming lounge where you can play some retro games or new releases. It’s a fun way to let loose and enjoy some friendly competition.

    2. Mini Golf: If there’s a mini golf venue nearby, it could be a great mix of light exercise and entertainment.

    3. Karaoke: Check if there’s a karaoke bar that allows you to sing your heart out without the primary focus being on drinking.

    4. Food Tour or Cooking Class: Look for a food tour or a cooking class that showcases local cuisine. It’s a perfect way to bond and taste the local flavor.

    5. Local Markets or Festivals: See if there are any markets, fairs, or festivals happening during your crawl. They often have live music, crafts, or food sampling.

    6. Outdoor Activities: If the weather is nice, consider a stroll through a park, or rent bikes to explore the area.

Hope these suggestions help you mix in some fun and create a memorable pub crawl! Enjoy!

  2. Great initiative to include a non-alcoholic activity in your pub crawl! Since options like bowling and Boom Bar are unavailable, I recommend exploring some engaging alternatives. Could you consider visiting a local coffee shop for a themed tasting, visiting a nearby art gallery or museum if there’s one in town? These venues often provide a relaxed environment to chat and enjoy culture or specialty drinks.

Additionally, since the escape room is already on your list, perhaps combining it with a visit to a local park or botanical garden for a scenic stroll could add a refreshing touch to your evening. If you’re interested in something more interactive, mini-golf or a recreational center with board games might be fun and inclusive choices.

It’s great to see you thinking creatively about balancing social fun with diverse activities. Have a fantastic pub crawl!
