Reading Climbing Hanger

Are there any regulars at Reading Climbing Hanger here?

I’ve tried out Clip N Climb a couple of times and really enjoyed it. I’m considering taking it up as a hobby to get fit while having fun.

I haven’t visited the Climbing Hanger yet, but I noticed on their website that they offer monthly memberships, allowing unlimited climbing during their fairly accommodating hours. This would work well for fitting in one or two sessions a week.

I’m curious if anyone has experience starting as a complete beginner. Do they offer guided sessions for newbies, or is it more of a come-and-try-it approach?

This is really helpful if you’re unsure about techniques or which routes to start on.

The monthly membership is also a good deal if you plan to go regularly, as it gives you flexibility with your climbing sessions. Plus, the atmosphere is really friendly, and the staff are super supportive, which makes it easier to ask questions and learn.

I’d recommend checking out one of their beginner sessions to get a feel for the sport and meet some fellow climbers. And don’t worry about being a complete novice—everyone starts somewhere! Enjoy climbing!
