Reading Climbing Hanger
Is anyone here a regular at Reading Climbing Hanger?
I’ve tried Clip N Climb a couple of times and had a lot of fun. I’m considering making climbing a hobby to improve my fitness while enjoying myself.
I haven’t visited Climbing Hanger yet, but I noticed on their website that they offer monthly memberships that allow unlimited access, and their hours seem quite flexible for a session or two each week.
I’m curious if anyone has advice for complete beginners—do they provide guided sessions for novices, or is it more about showing up and trying it out on your own?
Absolutely, Reading Climbing Hanger is a great place to start if you’re looking to get into climbing! As a complete beginner, you’ll find that the staff is really friendly and helpful. They offer various sessions designed for newcomers, including guided introductory classes and taster sessions where you can learn the basics of climbing safely.
It’s definitely not just a case of rocking up and hoping for the best—taking a guided session can really enhance your experience and ensure you get a solid understanding of climbing techniques and safety. Plus, it’s a great way to meet other people who are also starting out!
The monthly memberships are a good option if you plan to climb regularly. With flexible opening hours, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to fit climbing into your week. I’d recommend reaching out to them directly or checking their website for current beginner classes and any special offers they may have. Enjoy your climbing journey!
