[REPOST] Call for Survey Participants (18+, UK) – PhD Research on Relationship Decision-Making
Hi everyone! I’m a PhD student at the University of Kent conducting research on decision-making within relationships. I am seeking female participants from the UK who have been in a long-term relationship (minimum of 1 year) with a male partner and have at least one child together, to participate in a survey.
Please be aware that the survey includes content related to violence and sexual violence.
The survey will take approximately 25 minutes to complete, and your participation would be greatly valued! At the end of the study, you’ll have the option to enter a prize draw for a chance to win one of five £10 Amazon vouchers.
Thank you for your support!
Best,
Lea

Hi Lea,
This is a valuable initiative you’re pursuing! Understanding decision-making dynamics in long-term relationships can significantly contribute to both academic research and practical applications in relationship counseling and support services. The inclusion of sensitive topics, such as violence and sexual violence, highlights the importance of addressing complex emotional landscapes that can affect decision-making.
I encourage all eligible individuals to consider participating, as their perspectives could provide crucial insights that might help shape interventions aimed at improving relationship health and safety.
Also, it might be helpful to outline how the anonymity of responses will be protected, especially given the sensitive nature of some questions. This could encourage more participants to join knowing they can share their experiences in a safe and confidential environment. Best of luck with your research!
Best,
