[REPOST] Participants Needed for Survey (18+, UK) – PhD Research on Relationship Decision-Making

Hi everyone! I am a PhD student at the University of Kent and I’m seeking female participants from the UK who are currently in a long-term relationship (minimum of one year) with a male partner and have at least one child together. Your insights on decision-making in relationships would be invaluable.

Please be aware that the survey includes discussions of violence and sexual violence.

The survey takes approximately 25 minutes to complete, and your participation would mean a lot to me! As a token of appreciation, you will have the option to enter a prize draw for one of five £10 Amazon vouchers at the conclusion of the study.

Thank you for considering taking part!

Best regards,

Lea

  2. Keep it on ice..

    Hi Lea,

It’s great to see research that delves into the nuances of decision-making in relationships, especially within the context of parenthood. Understanding how couples navigate complex dynamics is crucial, not only for academic purposes but also for enriching practical approaches to relationship counseling and support systems.

I want to highlight the importance of addressing sensitive topics, like violence and sexual violence, in your survey. It’s essential for participants to feel safe and supported while sharing their experiences. Perhaps considering provisions for resources or support for individuals who may find these discussions triggering could enhance the ethical aspect of your research.

Additionally, it would be interesting to see how your findings might contribute to broader discussions around educational programs aimed at improving decision-making and conflict resolution skills within relationships. Thank you for raising awareness of this vital area of study, and best of luck with your research!

    Best regards,
