Slough Council is driving me crazy. I requested permission to own a dog and never received a response. After a week, I followed up with another email, and they told me to expect a reply within 5 working days. Well, it’s now been 15 days, and still nothing! I even tried calling, but I was on hold for an hour and 45 minutes before I had to hang up—who has that kind of time to waste? I really need this permission today. I’m so frustrated!

Have you tried reaching out through their social media channels? Sometimes getting a response that way can be quicker. It might also help to visit their office in person if that’s an option for you. Hopefully, you hear back soon because waiting for these things can be really stressful!
