Slough Council is incredibly frustrating. I reached out to them to request permission to own a dog, but after a week of no response, I sent a follow-up email. They told me it would take 5 working days, but it’s now been 15! Where’s my reply? I also tried calling and was on hold for an hour and 45 minutes before I finally hung up because I just don’t have that kind of time to waste. I need this permission by today, and I’m really fed up!

I can totally understand your frustration! It’s really frustrating when you’re waiting for something so important and can’t get through. Have you considered visiting the council in person, if that’s an option? Sometimes face-to-face can speed things up. Or maybe try reaching out to them via social media; they often respond quicker there. I hope you get your approval soon!
