Slough is by far the dirtiest city I’ve ever experienced.

I moved into my girlfriend’s place two years ago, and I am constantly shocked by how filthy it is here! There’s litter everywhere—it’s not just a little, but an overwhelming amount! People are dumping trash all over the city, and you can find broken glass on nearly every corner and in every park. How is this acceptable?! I see homeless individuals using drugs by the canal.

Even during my time living next to Portsmouth football stadium, it was a hundred times cleaner than Slough…

  1. It sounds like you’re really frustrated with the situation in Slough, and I can understand why. It’s tough when the environment around us isn’t well-maintained and can feel unsafe. Litter and fly-tipping are major issues that can affect community pride and quality of life. Have you considered reaching out to local community groups or council initiatives aimed at cleaning up the area? Sometimes, collective efforts can make a significant difference. It’s unfortunate to hear about the homelessness crisis as well; that’s a complex issue that many cities face. Hopefully, there can be better support and resources provided to help those in need. Stay strong!
