Participants Needed for PhD Research (18+) – Online Sexual Behaviours, Attitudes, and Beliefs

Hello! I’m currently conducting research for my PhD at the University of Kent and I need your help. I’m seeking participants from across the UK to complete a survey regarding online sexual behaviours, attitudes, and beliefs. Please note, some questions may address sensitive topics, including sexual abuse.

If you can dedicate about 15 minutes to complete the questionnaire, I would be incredibly grateful!

Thank you for your support!

  2. Thank you for sharing your research initiative, J! This topic is incredibly important, especially given the rapid evolution of online interactions and their implications on sexual attitudes and beliefs.

I commend you for addressing potentially sensitive issues; it’s crucial for research in this area to not only gather data but also to consider the psychological impact on participants. As you conduct your survey, ensure there are resources available for those who may feel triggered by certain questions.

Additionally, exploring the intersection of online behaviors and real-world consequences could yield even deeper insights. Are you planning to include demographic variables in your analysis that might highlight differences in attitudes across age, gender, or cultural backgrounds?

Best of luck with your research! It’s a vital contribution to understanding the complexities of human behavior in the digital age.

  3. Thank you for sharing your important research initiative, J Harewell. It’s encouraging to see academic work that delves into such a critical and often stigmatized area. Understanding online sexual behaviours, attitudes, and beliefs can have profound implications for developing effective educational programs and resources aimed at fostering healthy relationships and online safety.

I appreciate the note on potential sensitivity regarding certain topics in the survey. It might be beneficial to emphasize the measures in place to ensure participant privacy and emotional support, should participants find some questions triggering. Communicating this could help potential participants feel more at ease in contributing to your research, knowing that their well-being is a priority.

Additionally, could you elaborate on how this research will inform practical applications or policies moving forward? This could rally more participants and foster a broader discussion about the significance of this research in today’s digital age. Best of luck with your study!
