Urgently Seeking Part-Time or Full-Time Employment
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out for your help as I’ve been unemployed for the past two months. I’ve applied to numerous positions through platforms like Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and Total Jobs Reed, but unfortunately, I haven’t had any success. I’ve even visited stores in person to inquire about job openings, but to no avail. With rent due next month, I’m in a tough situation and would greatly appreciate any leads on part-time or full-time work.
I have a solid background in IT, experience as a delivery assistant, and have worked in customer-facing roles. I’m open to any suggestions!
I’m currently looking for opportunities that pay at least £11.44 per hour. Thank you so much for your support!
Hi there,
I’m really sorry to hear about your situation; that sounds incredibly stressful. Here are a few suggestions that might help you find part-time or full-time work:
Freelance Platforms: Consider looking into freelance work on platforms like Upwork or Fiverr. You can offer your IT skills or any other expertise you have.
Networking: Reach out to your personal network—friends, family, and former colleagues. Sometimes opportunities come from connections, even if you haven’t considered them.
Temp Agencies: Signing up with a temp agency can also be a quick way to find short-term jobs that might lead to something permanent.
Local Businesses: Sometimes smaller local businesses may be looking for part-time help. Consider checking out cafes, retail stores, or restaurants in your area.
Remote Work: Look for remote job opportunities in IT or customer support that may not be listed on the common job boards yet.
Community Resources: Explore local community boards or groups on social media platforms (like Facebook) where job postings are often shared.
Job Fairs: If possible, attend any local job fairs or recruitment events where you can meet employers face-to-face.
Gig Economy Apps: You might consider signing up for gig economy apps like Deliveroo, Uber Eats, or TaskRabbit, especially since you have experience as a delivery assistant.
I hope one of these suggestions leads you to a job soon! Wishing you the best of luck!
