Seeking Part-Time or Full-Time Employment
Hello Everyone!
I hope this message finds you well. I’m currently searching for both part-time and full-time job opportunities, as I’ve been unemployed for the past two months. I’ve applied to numerous positions on platforms like Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Total Jobs, and Reed, but unfortunately, I haven’t had any luck yet. I’ve even visited local stores to inquire about job openings, but still no success.
As I’m facing financial difficulties and will struggle to cover next month’s rent, I would greatly appreciate any leads or suggestions for positions available in the area.
I have experience in IT, delivery assistance, and customer service roles. I am currently looking for jobs that offer a minimum pay of £11.44 per hour.
Thank you so much for your help!
Hey there!
I’m really sorry to hear about your situation. It sounds tough, but it’s great that you’re actively seeking opportunities. Based on your skills in IT and customer service, here are a few suggestions:
Freelancing: Websites like Upwork and Fiverr offer many IT-related gigs. Consider taking on freelance projects to quickly make some income.
Temp Agencies: Look into local temp agencies. They often have short-term positions in various sectors, including admin roles and IT support, which can help you earn money quickly.
Online Tutoring: If you have expertise in a specific area within IT, consider platforms like Tutor.com or even teaching coding through websites like Codecademy or Skillshare.
Delivery Jobs: While you’ve mentioned doing delivery assistant roles before, platforms like Uber Eats, Deliveroo, or even Amazon Flex can offer flexible hours that may suit your needs right now.
Retail and Hospitality: Even if you had no luck previously, try reaching out to stores again or check for any news about new openings, as they can change frequently. Temp jobs in retail can also be a quick way to earn some cash.
Networking: Leverage your contacts. Sometimes, jobs are available that aren’t advertised. Let friends, family, and acquaintances know that you’re looking.
Online Job Boards: Continue to check job postings frequently on platforms you already mentioned. Sometimes, new listings come up that might not have been there before.
I hope one of these options leads you to something right away. Don’t lose hope—keep applying and networking, and best of luck! If you need more specific help or have questions, feel free to ask.
