Warning: Verbal Abuse on Queens Road
I want to share a quick warning about an incident I experienced today, as I know this individual is quite recognizable in our community.
Around 4:30 PM, while walking home from work, I was followed by a slender, middle-aged woman wearing a black coat. She is known for her aggressive verbal behavior and for approaching people outside the Grosvenor Casino on Queens Road. I tried to ignore her by wearing headphones, but she continued to follow me toward London Street, shouting abuse until she eventually stopped.
I’ve had a previous encounter with her that left me feeling shaken and anxious. As someone with autism, I find it particularly challenging to navigate situations like this.
While many say to simply ignore such individuals, that approach didn’t work for me in this case.
I’ve heard that she is known to the police, but unfortunately, it seems no actions have been taken to address her behavior, which is incredibly frustrating.
Please stay safe when you’re in this area of town! 🫡
