Exciting news for 2025: we’ll be introducing walk-on spots! This means you can now jump on stage without having to email in advance—perfect for those spontaneous moments when you feel like giving stand-up a shot.
We’re hoping this change will help foster the grassroots comedy scene in Reading!

Walk-On Spots
Starting February 3, 2025, we will offer 5-minute walk-on spots at Mates Rates Comedy RAW every Monday at The Outlook, Reading.
- Four walk-on spots will be available each Monday.
- Sign-up is from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Arrive on time to secure your spot!
- Spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Performers must stick to their allotted time.
- No ticket purchase is necessary for performers.
