Seeking Recommendations for Dry Hire Wedding Venue

Hi everyone! I’m on the hunt for a wedding venue that can host at least 220-250 seated guests.

I’ve reached out to a few places, including the town hall, but I’m finding it challenging to secure a dry hire option without being required to use their in-house catering services.

I’m aiming for a layout similar to this: YouTube Link.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  1. Hi there!

It sounds like you have a great vision for your wedding! Here are a few dry hire venues that could accommodate your guest count and allow for a flexible catering setup:

    1. Barns or Estates: Many barn venues offer dry hire options and have ample space for large weddings. They often provide a rustic charm that could complement your layout.

    2. Community Halls: These can be a cost-effective option, and many have the capacity for 220-250 guests. Just make sure to check their policies on catering.

    3. Art Galleries or Museums: Some galleries and museums offer event spaces for hire that can be transformed to fit your vision.

    4. Warehouses: Look for industrial-style warehouses in your area that provide dry hire options. They usually have plenty of space and a unique atmosphere for a wedding.

    5. Parks or Outdoor Venues: If you’re open to an outdoor setting, check if there are parks or garden venues that allow for dry hire.

Make sure to consider any necessary rentals (tables, chairs, etc.) if you choose a venue that requires you to bring in your own items. Hope this helps, and best of luck with your wedding planning!
