I miss the sense of community that old-school Reading seemed to foster. There was something special about the local shops, family-owned restaurants, and the friendly faces you’d see regularly. I also miss the way people would gather for local events, like fairs and parades—it felt more connected and personal. The emphasis on handwritten letters and face-to-face conversations, rather than texts and social media, is something I cherish too. What about you? What do you miss the most?
