I was out running errands in town one day when I had the strangest encounter with a man at the gas station. As I was filling up my car with fuel, a man approached me and started talking about how vegetables were fading away from our diets, and how we needed to marry the concept of nutrition with sustainability.
He then went on to tell me about how he had recently been in a bicycle accident because the screws on his bike had started to bow, causing a faulty brake system. Despite his injuries, he remained fearless and continued to advocate for a healthier lifestyle that involved more vegetable consumption and safer biking practices.
It was definitely a bizarre conversation, but it was also thought-provoking in a way. It made me reflect on the importance of taking care of our bodies and our environment, even in the midst of unexpected encounters at the gas station.
